PeopleCert, a global leader in assessment and certification of professional and language skills, is seeking for an exceptional and talented individual to join our team as Business Insights Analyst.The Business Insights Analyst is responsible for leveraging data and analytical tools to extract valuable insights that inform and support critical business decisions. This role plays a crucial part in helping the organization understand performance, identify trends, and make data-driven strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance overall competitiveness.

What we look for:

  • Report Generation and Visualization: Create visually compelling and insightful reports and dashboards using BI tools with extensive experience in Power BI. Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, facilitating better decision-making.
  • Trend Identification: Monitor and identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in data to provide proactive recommendations for business improvements. This includes tracking key market trends, competitor performance, and internal performance metrics.
  • Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Utilize advanced statistical models and machine learning techniques to develop forecasts and predictive models that support future business planning and resource allocation.
  • Business Strategy Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic planning and execution. Offer recommendations for optimizing processes and achieving business objectives.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies and standards. Work to maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance tracking systems. Continuously monitor KPIs to identify areas for improvement and report on progress towards business goals.
  • Data-driven Decision Support: Assist in the development and execution of data-driven decision-making frameworks. Provide support and insights to enable stakeholders to make informed choices based on data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and analytics. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data analytics capabilities within the organization.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the BI team, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven initiatives and projects.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI tool and data visualization software.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling.
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTEorC2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for uncovering actionable insights from data.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

  • If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
    • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
    • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
    • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
    • Financial background check
    • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
