Chef de Partie/ Cook A'
for their new project in Santorini.
Job requirements:
- Estimate the daily production needs and continuously checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation,receiving, storage and sanitation
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils
- Carry out any other duties as required by management.
Job related skills:
- BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate from a culinary institution would be a plus
- At least 3 years experience in cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service 4-5* hotel
- Excellent command of English language Additional knowledge of a second foreign language would be considered as an asset (preferably Italian, French, German or Russian)
- Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs
- Flexible to working hours subject to the demands of the business
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent culinary catering talent
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- A team player with good communication skills
