Butcher
for their new project in Santorini.
Job requirements:
- Estimate the daily production needs and continuously checking the quality of raw food products to ensure that standards are met .Excellent knowledge of meat Butchery
- Able to make purchase orders and receive goods in coordination with Procurement and Executive chef
- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation,receiving, storage and sanitation
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils
- Carry out any other duties as required by management.
Job related skills:
- BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate from a culinary institution would be a plus
- At least 3 years experience in cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service 4-5*hotel
- Excellent command of English language. Additional knowledge of a second foreign language would be considered as an asset
- Flexible to working hours subject to the demands of the business
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent culinary catering talent
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- A team player with good communication skill
