Job Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible to develop and manage a portfolio of Key Accounts. KAM is responsible for the entire sales process, from acquisition to closing of the contract while developing and maintaining strategic long-term trusting relationships with key clients. The Key Account Manager's responsibilities include managing business relationships with Key Account commercial and industrial customers while performing account management activities and acting as a resource and facilitator to resolve customer issues as they arise.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiates contracts and closes agreements to maximize profits
- Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Develops a solid and trusting relationship between key accounts and company
- Anticipates key account changes and improvements
- Forecasts and tracks key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepares reports on account status
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering
- Master’s degree will be considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Sales (energy or industry sector strongly preferred)
- Fluency in English and Greek is mandatory, both written & oral
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
- Familiarity with CRM software systems is considered a plus
- Well organized & result-oriented
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary (up to 30% of working time)
