Accounting Manager

Our client is an award-winning banking and investment management software provider. The company has a presence in 45 countries and offices in key financial centers, where is providing its innovative technology solutions to well-known global financial organizations and fintechs.

Job summary:

The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.

Job responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping of parent company & subsidiaries
• Tax returns, social security withholdings, transfer pricing
• Tax & social security audits
• Implementation of MyData
• Co-ordinates preparation of financial statements and communicates with auditors and other external advisors, surveyors, etc.
• Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Payroll preparation & execution
• Hirings & dismissals through Ergani and in accordance with corporate policies
• Prepares and executes payments plans in accordance with corporate policies
• Cost control
• Enhances ERP system
• Prepares BoD & GM resolutions, as well as resolutions of internal control & remuneration committees, in cooperation with legal counselor
• Manages the Team of Accountants

Job qualifications & skills:

• BSc/MSc in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as Chief Accountant
• Strong leadership qualities
• Advanced analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of financial standards, accounting & tax principles and practices and IFRS
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Highly advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Fluency in written and verbal communication, Greek, and English
