Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical and humanitarian action-driven organization that offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. The MSF movement is built around 5 Operational Centers (OC) supported by 26 sections and offices worldwide.
MSF section in Greece was founded as an Association in 1990 and is a partner of MSF Spain within the OCBA (Operational Centre in Barcelona) network. The MSF office in Greece is responsible for the recruitment of expatriate personnel for the missions, communication and fundraising activities, and program support to the operations.
MSF in Greece provides humanitarian and medical assistance to the refugee and migrant populations fleeing conflict in their home countries and following a migration route via Greece and the Balkans towards Northern Europe.
The Support Service Unit is especially dedicated to undertake fully specific administrative and financial tasks concerning the function of MSF operations in Greece. Its aim is to enhance the quality and efficiency of MSF response to the needs of the populations MSF is assisting in the country.
To lead the Acquisition & Loyalty Fundraising Pillar by developing and implementing donor acquisition & loyalty plans, across multiple channels and tools, with the objective to enlarge the social base and maximize the private & mid donors' engagement with MSF, as well as the income related to these donors and their Life Time Value.
