Join our family at Amanzoe as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, the incumbent is responsible in assisting F&B Manager for the achievement of ultimate guest satisfaction and profitability for all food and beverage operations in the resort including 1 main restaurant, 1 main bar, 1 pool bar & restaurant, 1 Beach Club restaurant & bar, 1 Private dining outlet, 1 multipurpose/events room and support to all Villas F&B Operations.
This position is responsible for creating an atmosphere that will inspire our guests and team members to return year after year.
You will assist in assuring that the wants and needs of our guests are consistently exceeded, you will train and supervise subordinates and you will ensure that budget objectives are achieved.
This role is based at Amanzoe, in the Peloponnese, Greece.
Desired Skills and Experience:
You will likely already possess experience of at least 2 years in a similar position either in a 5* hotel or in high standard Restaurants. Knowledge of Fine Dining service standards and procedures is mandatory, as is knowledge about wines, liquor and cocktails. You will need to have a Hospitality Degree from a certified school in Greece or abroad. Working knowledge of Micros System is mandatory. Excellent written and verbal Greek and English communication skills are required. Knowledge of an additional language is vital (e.g. Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, other). Strong interpersonal abilities are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be creative, organized with problem solving & time management skills and with desire to achieve highest quality service standards with guests and team members.
This role is based at our Amanzoe in the greater Porto Heli Area - Greece. While we are open to applications from international candidates, we ask that you already possess the right to live and work in Greece without the need for a company-supported work permit.
