Assistant Pastry Chef is responsible for: Planning, implementing and managing daily operations, preparing menus; Ordering ingredients and supplies; Creation, decoration, and presentation of desserts; Keeping abreast with the latest food and industry trends; Adhere to health and safety standards.

Assistant Pastry Chef reports directly to the Pastry Chef.

Job-related skills:

• Certificate in culinary/pastry arts
• Professional experience in a similar position
• In depth knowledge of sanitation principles
• Great attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong passion for the art of food design
