We are looking for a highly energetic, results driven and experienced candidate.

The ideal candidate functions as the primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of the operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to the company.

The position reports directly to the F&B supervisor of the company.

Responsibilities

The assistant waiter is responsible to provide professional and customer-focused service to the guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience.

• Assist waiters with the serving of spirits and food, set-up and clearing of china, glass, and silver from service as well as attend to guest needs and requests.
• Maintain tables dirt-free and tidy.
• Preserve the workstation organized and stocked at all times.
• Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests.
• Keep a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Provide information to guests in regards of facilities, events and services.
• Keep a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.

Qualifications

• Degree from a higher school of tourism / hotel school of the country or abroad
• Enthusiastic, friendly & self-motivated professional eager to learn, develop and be part of a growing team
• Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a fast-paced luxury environment
• Relevant experience within a restaurant, ideally within a hotel environment
• Proactive, able to work efficiently under pressure, to make decisions and come up with effective solutions
• Hands-on approach, flexible, with a positive attitude
• Pleasant, friendly, and communicative presence
• Flexibility, team spirit, willingness, professional behavior
• Professionalism, integrity, and responsibility
• Excellent command of the English language. Additional knowledge of further foreign languages would be considered an asset. Arab speaking will be a plus.
• Enthusiastic, friendly & communicative personality eager to be part of a growing team
