The five-star Liostasi Hotel & Suites, the top hotel of Ios Island and one of the leading boutique hotels of Greece, is looking for Assistant Waiter. The newly upgraded Liostasi Hotel & Suites is part of the Denaxas Group of Companies and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Job Description:

Liostasi is searching for an energetic Assistant Waiter who will have the responsibility to support the Waiter/Waitress throughout the service duties.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver services of exceptional quality that increase customer satisfaction.
• Always follow Liostasi service standards and procedures on how to serve drinks, beverages and food.
• Organize table settings and maintain tables dirt-free and tidy.
• Maintain pleasant interaction with guests at all times.
• Follow directions from the Waiter/Waitress in order to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Preserve the workstation organized and stocked in order to better accommodate the needs of the Waiter/Waitress and of our guests.
• Constantly remain guest focused and promote exceptional guest experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 yrs. in similar role within a hotel environment preferably in a boutique 5-star hotel.
• Excellent command of both English and Greek.
• Knowledge of French language will be considered as an asset.
• Relevant education, training in fine dining restaurants will be considered an added value.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong customer-focused approach.
• Dealing with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• The ability to multi task and work well in a high volume work environment.
• Well-groomed with strong interpersonal skills.
