V Group is a dynamic and robust Group of Companies active in Waste Management, Energy Trading and Renewable Energy Sources, which seeks to hire an Associate PV Developer. The position is full- time, and it is based in Athens, Greece.

Associate PV Developer

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting on the development of renewable energy projects in Greece with a focus on medium and large-scale greenfield developments.

Key responsibilities:

• Filing, planning and monitoring of new PV projects
• Continuous monitoring of RES licensing and urban planning legislation
• Be in contact with related public sector departments and external partners Supervising and managing of external developers
• The successful candidate should have experience and a proven track record in the following:
• Green field development for solar
• Grid connection application process
• Planning and environmental permitting Assisting in the development of projects EPC and constructions

Job requirements/Skills:

• Engineering Degree; Professional Engineer (P.Eng) preferred, alternative designations with a focus on project management will be considered
• Solid understanding and experience with project management processes; and understanding and knowledge of network procedures, interconnection agreements and planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English; other languages are also beneficial
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Auto Cad
• Must be proactive and capable of prioritising and delivering in tight deadlines; able to manage work without supervision and to deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel as required
