Back End Developer

Founded in 1988, Express Publishing is one of the leading publishing companies, producing a wide variety of English Language Teaching materials. Our company has enjoyed rapid growth with a current list of over 3500 titles that are exported to over 100 countries.

We are now looking for a Back End Developer to join our growing e-learning platform engineering team in Athens. You will be responsible for the maintenance, design, development and deployment of our core product's RESTful API. Collaboration and coordination with the Front End and App development teams is a daily process. You will have the opportunity to expand your development skills by working on an EdTech product that is trusted and used in many countries around the world.

Requirements:

• BS/MSin Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field
• Hands on experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Familiarity with SQL, MySQL and relational DBs.
• Experience with Sequelize will be considered a plus
• Competent with Git
