Chef is responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing; preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitations and cleanliness; Budgeting and cost control; Personnel Training and coaching. Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure optimum resource management and service provided.
The ideal candidate should be capable of proposing innovative ideas and have a passion for gastronomy.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS:
- Culinary arts degree
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Familiarity with new gastronomic trends and different cuisine styles
- Creativity and imagination
- Taking initiative and problem-solving skills
- Team leadership and cooperation with other teams
- Capable of budgeting and cost management
- Excellent communication and organising skills
