Chief Representatives

( CHRE/GR/20)

Purpose of the Job:

This position is responsible for managing a team of Representatives working within the destination. You are responsible for the overall servicing of passengers and ensuring that established sales targets are achieved. The role will require you to work with passengers from various different nationalities, providing an excellent customer service level at all time. You will be reporting directly to the Destination Manager.

About the role

Results Orientation:

  • Assess the workload of the team and effectively prioritize and delegate tasks in accordance with the business needs ensuring that local sales targets and service standards are met
  • Resolve customer queries ensuring that the service delivered is efficient, prompt and professional
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge on all offered excursions including timings and pricing and sell excursions and related services to passengers
  • Plan and develop strategies for maximizing on local sales, agreeing specific targets in accordance with the company budget and react to shortfalls ensuring that passenger sales and revenue targets are met

People Management:

  • Manage and motivating the team on a day-to-day basis using proven management and leadership skills to ensure performance and morale remains at a high standard
  • Identify areas of development within the team and provide training where necessary and evaluate current working practices and ensure continual improvement
  • Allocate work and monitor performance effectively ensuring that Representatives deliver a service in line with Meeting Point ‘Service Standards’

About you:

  • 2-4 years working as Chief Representative or similar in the Travel industry would be appreciated
  • Fluent German is a must
  • Fluent English is compulsory
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
