Demi Chef de Partie (à la carte & buffet restaurants)
Location: Ouranoupolis, Chalkidiki
The Demi Chef de Partie will be responsible to take care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the company’s standards and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Support the Chef de Partie or the Sous Chef in the daily schedule, cook all dishes according to recipes and menu specifications, follow instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness for all working areas, equipment, waste disposal and storage
- Follow at all times a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
- Control food stock and assist in ordering food items and products required for the smooth operation of the department, support the control of food cost
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Complete daily checks of all mis-en-place to ensure freshness and quality standards
- Carry out any other duties as required by management team
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in an à la carte or buffet restaurant ideally within a 5* Luxury Hotel
- Culinary Arts Degree
- Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP standards
- Fluency in Greek and English
- Ability to work under pressure, a team player passionate about the job and focused on providing high quality results
