The 5* Aegialis Hotel & Spa located at Aegiali – Amorgos is looking for experienced,
passionate and dedicated individuals, to be a part of the team.

E-Commerce - Sales & Marketing Agents

Job description:

Day to day responsibilities will involve in each position:

E-commerce administration:

  • Manage WebHotelier and Online Travel Agencies’ extranets as needed
  • Implement and update on regular basis the online rates, online availability, website changes and functional improvements as requested
  • Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising
  • Follow up invoicing of e-commerce bookings and other services
  • Maintain, update and refresh the appearance of the hotels in the Online Travel Agencies
  • Build traffic & sales via the web
  • Monitor key performance indicators on the websites and develop plans to improve them

Sales administration:

  • Administration / Support to the Sales Department
  • Archive and filing of all the sales related records
  • Attend and support educational hotel visits
  • Occupancy/ Revenue Analysis (regular and ad-hoc reporting)
  • Tour Operators Yield Actions’ administration
  • Company business support (responses to Sales Department correspondences and phone calls, group quotation replies and follow ups)
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets
  • Other sales related activity as per the company’s requirements

Marketing administration:

  • Coordinate with the hotel's Team to ensure the brand’s guidelines’ are met
  • Develops an annual marketing communication plan and implement this
  • Ensure all external communications made are correct, brand compliant and will enhance the brand image
  • Establish strong relationships with local, regional and international media in order to maximize the brands exposure.
  • Develop and execute promotional and brand building exercises in conjunction with the marketing department
  • Write public relations materials including press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, status reports and other communications as directed, and prepare these materials for distribution (i.e., ability with digital design programs required)
  • Organize and manage press images.
  • Plan and execute press previews and related activities
  • Manage Public Relations filing and special submissions
  • Collect, organize, and distribute press clippings and social media coverage with regular status reports on monthly, weekly and yearly basis
  • Plan and execute social media communications strategy through content development and calendar planning
  • Develop, compile and distribute weekly and monthly social media reporting, Create custom images, gifs, and videos specifically for the social media space & platforms
  • Build and manage good relationship with influencers, bloggers etc.
  • Ensure clear communication with the top management
  • Photo selection, texts preparation and follow up for the hotel's procures to be addressed to Travel Agents
  • TripAdvisor's comments management
  • Hotel's and OTA's Websites audit and update
  • Hotel's representation @ International Tourism Fairs
  • Organizing, coordinating and implementing press & fam trips

Key Experience & Skills:

  • Education Degree in Tourism field
  • Full knowledge of English language (knowledge of additional language will be appreciated).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 2010 or later
  • Previous experience as e-commerce - sales & marketing agent or relevant role
  • Relevant experience in WebHotelier platform and OTAs’ extranets will be beneficial
