Energy Market Analyst - Thessaloniki

Job Title: Energy Market Analyst

Type: Full-time
Place: Thessaloniki, Greece

VaasaETT is looking for graduates from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, economics or other relevant departments with interest in the energy market and in data, to join our Thessaloniki team. Your primary tasks will focus on energy data collection, market research and analysis. We are offering the candidate the possibility to develop and grow professionally in a dynamic  environment.

Must have:

  • Fluent spoken and written English, since it will be the main communication language used for the job
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of energy related subjects (electricity/natural gas markets, energy pricing, EVs, etc.)

Required Soft skills:

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Respectful and responsible
  • Ability to deal with tight deadlines
  • Ability to take initiatives


  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. Python, Matlab)
  • Good knowledge of statistics
  • Familiarity with the machine learning/pattern recognition field
  • Programming skills
  • Additional language skills (e.g. French, Spanish, Portuguese)
