Executive Housekeeper - Mykonos

Executive Housekeeper

Who wants to be part of the Housekeeping Team at Bill & Coo Hotels Mykonos.

Duties:

  • Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping Department to ensure appropriate cleaning of all rooms and public areas of the Hotel
  • Planning , organizing and directing team member ensure the highest degree of Guest satisfaction
  • Daily supervision of staff
  • Purchase , re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all the departments
  • Conduct inspections of all rooms before Guest’s arrival and during their stay to ensure all LHW standards are applied
  • Inspect all public areas, guest rooms, corridors, washrooms, etc. May also check out the laundry personnel to ensure its proper functioning.
  • Interacts daily with all Guests and makes sure that all Guest requests are acknowledged and handled on time.
  • Communicate any room defects to relevant departments, follow up and report any issues to Hotel Manager
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment , make arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
  • Knowledge of safety standards within Housekeeping Department
  • Recruit , schedule and train all new Housekeeping staff members
  • Conducts daily Departmental meetings
  • Attends daily management briefings
  • Reports to Hotel Manager

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality / Tourism management
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar position
  • LHW or other 5* International Hotel Chain experience
  • Ability to speak, write and converse in both Greek and English
  • Ability to lead a team and develop strong team working
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer oriented
