Front Desk Receptionist

MarBella Collection is currently seeking for a passionate and dedicated

Front Desk Receptionist

to join our team for the season 2023. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Register guests collecting necessary
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
  • Maintain back-office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Control the front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

Qualifications

  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
  • Experience with hotel PMS, like Fidelio and Opera
  • Excellent verbal and written command of Greek and English language
  • Additional language knowledge would be consider an extra asset (German /French / Russian)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Degree in hotel management is a plus
