Cretan Malia Park, a member of Sbokos Hotel Group, seeks an individual to cover the following position:
Front Office Assistant Manager
The main responsibility of the above person will be to assist the Front Office Manager in all her duties and responsibilities.
Supervises the daily operation within the hotel in order to ensure that the procedures and the required high standards of customer service are applied. Assists the Front Office manager in all administrative work.
The Front Office assistant Manager reports directly to the Front Office Manager.
- Meet and exceed guests’ expectations by anticipating the services they might require and suggesting local venues
- Supervises and assist the Check in and Check out process
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
- Performs cashiering tasks like bill / invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest, paid out's, Foreign currency exchange etc.
- Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
- Sales Orientation. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Studies in Tourism/Hotel Management
- Work experience in a similar position at a 5 * hotel for at least 3 years
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability in handling operational problems
- Communication Skills
- Excellent command of English Language
- Knowledge of any additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Computer literacy (OPERA, MS OFFICE)
