Astir Beach is looking for talented and energetic people that have the passion to offer unique memorable experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate forGuest Experience & Reservations Managerroleshould carry significant experience in the hospitality industry and have strong communication and customer service skills.

His/her core responsibility is to offer stellar customer service and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop guest relations and provides concierge services if needed.
  • Ensure clients are properly greeted and seated upon their arrival
  • Ensure and provide flawless, upscale, professional and high-class guest service experiences
  • Coordinate the restaurant reservations plan
  • Report customer feedback and provide strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating in social media
  • Promptly address guests’ requests
  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints
  • Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff
  • Inform clients on services
  • Promote all amenities, conveniences, services and restaurant specialites
  • Manage guest experience/reservations team to ensure we comply with all standards and operating procedures
  • Appraise team’s performance and produce regular reports
  • Examine daily duties, assign tasks and check on progress

Qualification standards:

Education:

  • Must hold a Bachelor degree, additional education in sales or marketing fields
  • Must be fluent in English and knowledge of any additional language(s) is a plus

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a customer service/ sales role is essential. Previous experience in the tourism industry or in a luxury brand is preferred. Further experience in a supervisory position is a plus.

Candidate specific skills:

  • Ability to seek out new and innovative ways to meet, and respond to, the needs and demands of clients
  • Have strong customer service skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Be highly professional in appearance, character and conduct
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communicative skills and an ability to integrate into all levels of the organization
  • Show high levels of efficiency
  • Be able to work under pressure both as part of a team and also working on own initiative
  • Be proactive and innovative
