HR Manager - Greece
Located in Heraklion/Crete, and reporting into the Head of HR in Germany, this position will provide comprehensive, pragmatic and customer focused operational HR support to all managers and employees in Greece. The position covers a wide variety of generalist HR activities, but with a focus on recruitment, administration of payroll and benefits and general employee relations.
For this challenging role, Meeting Point Hellas is looking for an energetic, goal oriented team player with a minimum of 3 years progressive generalist HR experience including at least 2 years recruiting independently. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and best practice and will have proven experience in managing employee relations cases. Working knowledge of labor law and experience in Greek market is a must.
The successful candidate will also be a confident and articulate communicator with a high level of social sensitivity and cultural awareness and able to build successful and collaborative relationships with employees and managers at all levels. The ability to negotiate and influence at a senior level, to analyze complex information, and to demonstrate sound judgement and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information and issues are highly regarded requirements for this role. Experience of working independently within a matrix management structure would be an advantage.
Able to work independently and ‘think on your feet’, you will be comfortable working within a remote and matrix management structure with minimal direction. A high level of social sensitivity and cultural awareness will round your profile.
You will be educated to degree level, holding at a minimum a bachelor degree or equivalent level qualification in Human Resource or Business Management. Fluency in written and spoken English along with competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other HR databases are a must.
