HSE Manager

Elval Colour is a leading European coated aluminium manufacturer, established in 1977. A subsidiary of the ELVAL Group, the aluminium processing and trading division of VIOHALCO. The company manufactures and sells a complete range of products in coated aluminium to meet all building envelope requirements. We offer a full range of services related to the products we manufacture such as aluminium composite panels, zinc composite panels and pre-painted sheets and coils.

We are looking for

HSE Manager

to join our team in our plant at Oinofyta, Viotia.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous improvement of policies and procedures for the protection of health and safety in the workplace to ensure zero accidents
  • Checks the safety of installations and technical equipment prior to their operation as well as production processes and working methods prior to their implementation, and supervises the implementation of health and safety and accident prevention measures, informing the relevant supervisors department or business address
  • Keeps records of health, safety & environment related incidents and propose corrective actions
  • Investigation of incidents, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative measures
  • Recommends and ensures the improvement of the company's fire safety systems, monitors their maintenance and proper operation
  • Continuous improvement of environmental protection systems and processes to ensure zero environmental incidents
  • Communication and enforcement of Management's policy and commitment on environmental issues as well as training of company personnel in this area
  • Ensures that regulations, procedures and a rational waste management program are in place
  • Prepares and submits required environmental studies
  • Legally responsible for all HSE issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent field of studies
  • 5+ years of proven professional experience in HSE position
  • Excellent command of English language, both written & spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Postgraduate studies will be considered an asset
