We are looking for an
IT Business Support Engineer
to join our Support Team
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st level Customer Support Services on complete (all-in-one) Retail software solutions, which includes:
- Troubleshooting Retail issues (printing issues, fiscal devices issues, hand scannerissues, label printer issues etc.) at store level remotely
- Troubleshooting IT related issues (hardware issues, connectivity issues etc.) at store level remotely
- Provide 1st level Customer Support Services on complete IT software andhardware solutions, related to the below IT categories:
- Installed CCTV solutions
- Installed Access Control solutions
- Installed Alarm systems solutions
- Provide 1st level Customer Support Services on Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices
- Define Customer needs via DataNoesis Ticketing Service system and provide Support Services accordingly
- Diagnose errors or technical malfunctions and determine proper solutions remotely
- Reading, understanding and implementing specific processes stated in User Manuals or scoping documents
- Troubleshooting, debugging and applying fixes in software-based solutions provided to Customers
- Deploying software solutions or updates
Qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Positive Sciences
- 2+ years of related experience in Support Desk, or equivalent combination of Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction Services.
- Basic Knowledge of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Extensive knowledge in MS Windows platforms and peripherals
- Basic knowledge of Windows Applications infrastructure
- Advanced Business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
- Knowledge of Italian language will be considered a plus
- Excellent Team worker with Customer Service orientation
- Commitment to ongoing personal development
- Ability to work in rolling shifts (7) days/week
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
