Currently we are looking for

Java Engineers (Java SE)

to offer their services (SW analysis, design, coding, testing) for our international projects
(areas: telecommunications – network management systems), from Greece.

Required skills:

• A talented software engineer

• A strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative ability
• Ability to adapt quickly to new and challenging technical and business related environments
• Ability to work independently
• A team player, able to cooperate with others within a multi-national team
• Flexible enough to work in a fast paced environment, according to the customer's mentality
• Willing to be part of a very dynamically working company

Profile:

• A University Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Experience in OO programming principles
• Very good in in Java SE, working experience of 2 years as a minimum
• Familiar with Spring Framework, REST API
• Familiar (user level) Git, Maven, Gradle, LINUX operation systems
• Processes orientation and you are familiar with software development processes
• Fluency in English (spoken, written)

The following experience will be considered as an asset:

• experience with Message Queues (ActiveMQ preferred)
• experience with JPA, RDBMS, Postgres DB
• familiar with JavaFX
• familiar with Python
• telecommunications background - Network Management Systems

The successful candidates will be part of a team of highly qualified professionals, established in Greece (Athens), being involved in the full software development lifecycle. They will have an enabling in market- and product-specifics in Greece.

Prerequisites:

• Ability to travel abroad, as needed (<< 10%)
• Participation in a technical test and a technical interview
