Key Account Manager, Public Sector

Responsibilities:

As an Key Account Manager for the Public Sector, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with top (local) governmental client to identify, generate and nurture new business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales and margin targets
  • Create strategic partnerships with prospective governmental clients  
  • Build and reinforce client relationships 
  • Engage with internal stakeholders for the sales and bid process (recruiting and sales strategies, delivery, estimation, legal)   
  • Monitor and steer commercial planning of the accounts
  • Identify new growth markets for new business opportunities
  • Networking with clients; visible in the local community
  • Bid and tender management and participate in quoting, pricing and bid preparation timely and accurate  
  • Source potential bids and proposals

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager, Public Sector position will need to possess the following: 

  • University and/or Master Degree 
  • Excellent customer service skills and a natural sales ability
  • Experience in a sales-driven role in the public sector   
  • Experience in tendering and bid proposal  
  • Excellent communication, both verbally and in writing in Greek and English
  • You are a people and sales person who makes conversation easily
  • You are targets driven and thrive on the pressure of meeting and driving results
  • You are more than a little competitive (in the good way!)
  • You have strong business understanding & technical aptitude
  • You are organized and manage your time like a professional
  • You enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • You need to be passionate, ambitious, results-orientated, high energy, focused, adaptable, tenacious, a good listener and not afraid of hard work
