Operations Manager

(Mythic Exclusive Retreat)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments of the Hotel
  • Support and collaborate with all staff and ensure that all departments are running smoothly
  • Monitor the purchase of each department and contact the GM for any purchase
  • Daily meeting with the GM for reporting all necessary aspects of daily operation
  • Inspection of all departments (F & B / Kitchen / Housekeeping) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry etc), cleanliness, service readiness & hospitality culture
  • Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations
  • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process
  • Discuss with customers and learn their needs, wants and experience
  • Weekly meeting with GM and Reservation Manager for answering on comments on TripAdvisor, Google and OTAs
  • Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with developmentConduct weekly meeting with GM for marketing purposes and find initiatives on how to improve selling on our concierge department. Meeting also for improving room sales during season
  • Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the organization
  • Be on available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems on emergencies
  • Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the hotel

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in Business/ Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 2-3 years in boutique Hotel/ 4* - 5* Hotel experience as Operation or Assistant Operation Manager
  • Fluently speaking both English and Greek language
  • Good level in French language is necessary
  • Excellent written communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Hotelizer PMS will be an asset. Experience - knowledge of PMS in general is a must
  • Great knowledge of Rooms Division operations, reservations and F&B department
  • Excellent communication skills with a very strong customer-focused approach
  • Knowledge of cost control
  • Dealing with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner whether coming from employee or guest
  • Pleasant and friendly personality
  • Leader skills are important as you have to inspire your team for the best outcome
