Pastry Chef is responsible for: Planning, implementing and managing daily operations, preparing menus; Ordering ingredients and supplies; Creation, decoration, and presentation of desserts; Keeping abreast with the latest food and industry trends; Adhere to health and safety standards.
Pastry Chef reports directly to the Chef.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS:
- Certificate in culinary/pastry arts
- Professional experience in a similar position
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong passion for the art of food design
