Professional Truck Driver

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an organization based in Switzerland that provides logistics services throughout Europe and beyond, is seeking for a Professional Truck Driver to join the company based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Role involves

• Pick up the truck from a city in Europe (Usually Switzerland)
• Run routes within Central Europe (Switzerland, Italy, England, France, Germany, etc.)
• Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• The driver will work together with another driver

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in international transport as a Truck Driver
• Holds a passport either Greek or from a member state of the European Union
• Holds C+E driving license
• Holds Digital Tachograph Card
• Advanced knowledge of the English language

Personal Attributes

• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Reliability and Patience
