Hostess

Grace Hotel Santorini, Auberge Resorts Collection, listed as the best Hotel in Europe and Greece By Travel + Leisure, for the season 2022 is looking for a passionate and self-driven individual to join the team, as a Hostess.

Summary
Hostessrelates with guests about needs, satisfaction with the food & beverage, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service.
This position reports directly to the Restaurant manager.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests to the venue
• Providing accurate wait times and monitoring waiting lists
• Managing reservations
• Escorting customers to assigned dining or bar areas
• Greeting customers upon their departure
• Coordinating with wait staff about available seating options
• Catering to guests who require extra attention (e.g., allergies, elderly)
• Answering incoming calls and addressing customers’ queries
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the shift through customer focused service delivery
• Demonstrating service attributes in accordance with company standards

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in food service/hospitality.
• An EFET Certification is highly appreciated.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Able to work on a flexible schedule, including week-ends and holidays, according to department needs. Positive, honest and energetic work ethic.
• Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and be able to transport trays.
