Restaurant Manager
Byblos is the new talk-of-the-town restaurant, blossoming in a wonderful garden of Mykonos Chora. In search for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Restaurant team.
Basic knowledge requirements & skills:
- Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
- Strong leadership skills, excellent team player and communicator
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant, hotel or similar type of establishment
- Ability to adapt in difficult situations, solve problems and make decisions when necessary
- Ability to operate in a diverse and luxury environment with a focus on guest experience
- Good communications and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, a second or third language will be considered a plus
- Team working spirit
Duties:
- Be knowledgeable about service techniques and culinary terminology to train staff
- Create a fascinating dinning experience for our guests
- Be responsible for ensuring that guests receive a high quality, professional and well organized service
- Observe physical condition of facility and equipment and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
- Maintain all hygiene and safety policies and HACCP standards
- Be responsible for the training of our associates
- Handling of complains aiming the maximization of guest satisfaction
- Organise, plan and execute pre shift meetings on a daily basis in your department
