Restaurant Manager

Byblos is the new talk-of-the-town restaurant, blossoming in a wonderful garden of Mykonos Chora. In search for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Restaurant team.

Basic knowledge requirements & skills:

• Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
• Strong leadership skills, excellent team player and communicator
• Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant, hotel or similar type of establishment
• Ability to adapt in difficult situations, solve problems and make decisions when necessary
• Ability to operate in a diverse and luxury environment with a focus on guest experience
• Good communications and organisational skills
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, a second or third language will be considered a plus
• Team working spirit

Duties:

• Be knowledgeable about service techniques and culinary terminology to train staff
• Create a fascinating dinning experience for our guests
• Be responsible for ensuring that guests receive a high quality, professional and well organized service
• Observe physical condition of facility and equipment and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
• Maintain all hygiene and safety policies and HACCP standards
• Be responsible for the training of our associates
• Handling of complains aiming the maximization of guest satisfaction
• Organise, plan and execute pre shift meetings on a daily basis in your department
