Restaurant Manager

Position requirements

• 3+ years experience in similar position in a 5* or luxury/boutique hotel
• Degree in Hospitality/Tourism
• Excellent command of Greek and English language, additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills
• Guest oriented
• Superior computer skills (Microsoft Office, social media, e-mails, internet)
• Knowledge of any PMS is considered essential.
• Teamwork spirit and leading skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Advanced organizational skills
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
• Maintain at all times a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Abide by affiliation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure a polite and warm welcome to all guests at restaurant & pool bar facilities.
• Manage all departments' operation.
• Closely work with the F&B Manager and department heads to continually enhance and advance the company's operations.
• Conduct inspections to ensure facilities are kept in optimal condition.
• Reporting to F&B Manager
• Creating monthly reports
• Respond and follow up emails regarding quotations & events.
• Closely work with the Logistics Manager & Warehouse Manager in order to gain knowledge of stock.
• Ensure excellent response and handling to guest requests & complaints.
• Follow operational protocols.
• Build up full knowledge of hotel & restaurant facilities & services.
• Ensure the best buys for the restaurant.
• Market research
• Optimization of the restaurants in all social media & Trip Advisor
• Create educational seminars for the employees.
