Job Title: Restaurant Waiter / Waitress

Job Purpose: To ensure that guests receive a warm, friendly and professional service in the restaurant while aiming to attain departmental goals of guest satisfaction and financial returns.

C. KEY RESULT AREAS
- Preparation of mise en place before service begins.
- To welcome the guests during each meal period (by name when possible).
- To take orders and serve food and drinks as per set standards.
- To use upselling techniques wherever possible to maximize revenue
- To acknowledge guests as they depart and to control guest satisfaction
- To be fully aware of the empowerment guidelines and act upon them whenever necessary to ensure full guest satisfaction.
- To be fully trained on restaurant drink & food service
