Sales Engineer

Our team is continuing to expand so we are looking for a skilled and dynamic Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling technology solutions to join our Pre-sales team!
 

Job Title: Sales Engineer
Reports to: B2B Sales Manager
Location: Metamorphosis, Attica, Greece

Reporting to the B2B Sales Manager the potential candidate will be responsible for selling into new prospects and farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional pursuing a career in the Security Systems sector!

Main responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service, your knowledge of customer needs and G4S Security Systems solutions
  • Design Security Solutions tailored for each customer with the focus on Customer Experience and Satisfaction
  • Recommend appropriate solutions and services using Consultancy and Value Sales methodology; understand customer’s challenges, design and implement solution; win sales orders to meet sales targets
  • Contribute to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, use CRM (we use Salesforce), support collection and project management activities
  • Monitor customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team

Job Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, plus proven track on Sales in a B2B environment. Preferred experience in the security and alarm systems industry.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to creatively describe and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek & English language. Technical writing experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, innovative approach, flexible, proactive, service-minded and a strong team player. Ability to influence people, including C-level
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills, particularly computer-related drafting tools. AutoCAD is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of security alarm sub-systems.
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
  • Very good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Ability to travel
