Sales Manager

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing B2B and B2C sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely manner for proper service delivery. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales& marketingwith a focus on building long-term, value-basedB2B & B2Ccustomer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personaland propertysales goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or related major;
  • Great communication and negotiation skills, team working ability, great knowledge of MS Office full package, SMM
  • Good knowledge of the local market and competition.
  • Good connections with local and national DMCs, MICE agencies, wedding advisors and International leisure accounts required.
  • Fluent English is a must, fluent Greek and an additional language will be a plus.
  • 3+ years' experience as an active sales person in the sales and marketing department of a 5* Resort, preferably at Marriott or other International brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with off-property sales channelsand S&M consulting partnersto ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
  • Develop relationships withinlocal B2Bcommunity to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Manage Sales Activities
  • Participate inoffline and onlinesales calls, travel trade shows,communityevents,industry seminars&meetingsto acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Maintainknowledgeofmarket,competitionandcustomers
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
  • Use knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
  • Identify new business to achieve revenue goals.
  • Understand the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand...
  • Identify the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
  • Gain understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serve the customer by understanding their business, issues and concerns, to offer better solutions.
  • Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
