Summary:

Join our engineering team at Amco SA. We are looking for highly motivated, skilled developers to contribute their skills, fresh energy, and new ideas to help build the next generation of products. You will work in the Amco Engineering team in the ongoing development of our new mass transportation platform. Your key responsibilities include understanding and clarifying product specifications, implementation of the code, regression testing, and live support of the platform in production. Documentation, debugging and operational support is expected throughout the product lifecycle.

Required skills:

• 5 years of Java software development experience
• Experience with Spring, MVC, ORM (Hibernate)
• Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with web services using SOAP and/or REST APIs
• 3+ year of experience in client-side development including HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax/JSON
• Familiar with application servers (Tomcat)
• Experience with software integration, acceptance and system testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired skills:

• Experience with Maven/Ant
• Experience with bug tracking and versioning software ie: Jira, GIT, etc.
• Experience with common design patterns.
• Familiar with mobile app (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
