We are looking for a motivated Senior PHP Developer with strong problem-solving skills to join our ecommerce development team in Heraklion Crete (option for Remote). If you are passionate about PHP web development for one of the biggest ecommerce sites in Greece and Cyprus, then you are the type of person we are looking for!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team developing applications and services in PHP using agile development methods
• Code and test front and backend applications
• Solve performance problems and architectural challenges
• Use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
• Document existing and new applications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of proven PHP experience in production environments
• Deep understanding of MVC frameworks
• Very good knowledge of SQL (MySQL, MariaDB)
• Solid understanding of Git version control system and related tools (Github and/or Gitlab)
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
• Experience in Prestashop development will be considered a plus
• Basic Linux administration skills
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivator, team player
