Optimal HR Group on behalf of its client, a leading Distressed Asset Management multinational company, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager.

The Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for controlling, prioritizing and coordinating resources (people and budget) within the Greek NPL Servicing Business.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies that ensure project and portfolio effectiveness
  • Creating and maintaining new capabilities related to processes and systems to support innovation
  • Ensuring projects are well managed and adhere to appropriate standards and good practices
  • Developing Portfolio metrics to meet business growth goals and ensuring projects fit within the Business Strategies
  • Preparing portfolio timelines and contingency plans tracking critical launch dates
  • Driving team and leadership to make decisions critical to the project timing and success
  • Conducting appropriate risk assessments and defining risk mitigation plans related to resources
  • Managing staffing recommendations, managing budget resources to high priority projects and tracking project spending
  • Developing approaches to sustain and communicate success and progress across global stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to improve new product process based on key learnings from completed projects
  • Supporting Annual Business Operating Plan
  • Maintaining client relationships by regular contact with investor clients regarding market conditions, updated investment research and economic trends

Requirements:

  • Degree ideally in Economics, Finance, or Law with proven mathematical skills
  • Strong proven experience in executing and/or leading cross functional projects in the NPL/Bank Servicing environment
  • Providing high level communication through reports, presentations and writing scope statements
  • Managing concurrent complex projects and performing business analysis
  • Defining and understanding metrics and key performance indicators
  • Linking research and development to business opportunity
  • Superior analytical skills, both academic and work experience
  • Highly developed Excel skills
  • Fluency in Greek and English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced team management skills
  • Proven relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in a team effectively
  • High level of initiative, transparency and responsibility
