Description:
Senior Electrical/Power engineer for advanced R&D projects
Inaccess provide a state-of-the-art SCADA solution for RES power plants that integrates modern technologies and concepts with local plant and cloud based servers. We currently operate projects in >45 countries in all continents, being one of the top worldwide independent providers of Control and Monitoring solutions for utility solar plants. Inaccess has also significant activity in wind, storage, hybrid, mini-grid and off-grid RES projects. We work for top international investors, developers, asset managers and constructors serving them worldwide, continuously expanding in more countries.
The advanced R&D team is responsible to bring and manage R&D projects that are co-funded by the European Union, Local or other Authorities that are in-line with the mid and long term product development targets of Inaccess. The advanced R&D activities are inline with the Product Management and are performed by the Inaccess Development and are expected to establish long term cooperation with key Customers’ R&D teams.
The areas of interest include:
- RES power plants monitoring, control and automation. Fault management and advanced fault detection mechanisms with AI/ML.
- Grid integration, power control, hybrid plants, mini-grid and off-grid systems.
- Big data and advanced data analytics
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and Contribute to the preparation of advanced R&D proposals with relevant partners
- Negotiate with partners and EU/Local authorities
- Coordinate the execution and administration of such R&D international or national projects
- Cooperate with the Product Management team for setting the areas of interest
- Cooperate with the Development team for the implementation of the projects
- Coordinate and contribute/prepare the project management reports and deliverables
Requirements:
- University Degree and MSC in Electrical / Power Engineering or similar faculties
- Good understanding of Telecom Systems, Communications, Power systems, Power grids, Renewables
- Good experience (4+ years) with related advanced European R&D projects
- PhD degree in relevant area is an important plus
- Very good knowledge of Office Tools
- Willing to travel for meeting Partners
- Excellent professional knowledge of English. Knowledge of Spanish, German or Italian is a plus.

- Be able to manage assignments and deliver solutions working for multiple projects on a daily/weekly basis
- Have a systematic approach, coupled with strong communication and Partner interaction skills as well as a sense of ownership and drive
