Responsibilities

The Software Engineer Consultant will be part of a multicultural working team in a fast-paced, results oriented environment. More analytically, the responsibilities of the Software Engineer Consultant role include:

• supporting applications and users while following methodology and internal procedures
• responsible for requirement analysis and support of specialized software applications
• parameterizing existing applications to increase operating efficiency or meet users' requirements
• participating in troubleshooting and user support when required
• organizing business / technical workshops
• identifying and understanding business processes related to the specific field of expertise
• communicating with vendors and internal teams for problem resolution

Requirements

In order for your profile to match the requirements needed for this Software Engineer Consultant position, you will have to possess the following skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electrical & Computer Engineering / Informatics
• 1+ year(s) of working experience in consulting/SW support role
• good understanding and experience in SQL and RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle)
• Knowledge of Application servers (Tomcat or WebSphere) will be considered a plus.
• Previous experience in software development in C#.NET platform or Web Services development (SOAP / REST) will be considered a plus.
• Experience in Web Technologies (ASP.Net, CSS, Java Script, etc.) will be considered a plus.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
