Testing Technician

Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire an experienced Testing Technician to join our R&D Lithium Department. The role is responsible for providing technical support for the required development testing or testing for certification of lithium batteries for industrial and military applications. The position is based in Xanthi, Greece.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Operates facility and equipment in line with work instructions
• Conducts preparation work and modification on UUT to support test requirements
• Starts, stops, runs, monitors and shuts down any test schedules assigned to them
• Develops and conducts daily/periodic checks of analytical equipment
• Communication of test facility status via utilization documents
• Rectification/diagnosis of issues, engagement of test engineers where needed
• Creates internal work instructions and local process documents
• Conducts test setup activities; Material handling, rig fabrication, rig assemble, test instrumentation, HV & LV electrical connections and any other connections
• Installs/uninstalls test components into facility
• Supports/responsible of area 5s activities
• Responsible for working within and maintaining a safe working environment
• Aids in material handling activities
• Undertakes any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

Minimum qualifications and personal attributes:

• Bachelor's degree from a technical school in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Electrical or electronics, instrumentation and troubleshooting skills
• 2-3 years of working experience as Test Technician in industrial/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, taking direction from multiple sources as needed
• Basic MS Office skills in Word and Excel required
• Familiarity with schematics and wiring
• Ability to communicate effectively with the lab technicians and the employees from the other departments of the organization
• Written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English language
