Travel Agency Officer

About the company and the position​

Our client is a dynamic international travel agency, recently established in Thessaloniki. As the business is growing, the company is looking for an individual, who will manage the full end-to-end process in communication with the clients and develop partnerships with suppliers and Travel Agencies internationally. Full support and specialized training from the existing team will be provided.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Ticket issuing (international and domestic destinations)

• Generating leads (B2B and B2C customers)

• Delivering on sales & revenue targets

• Managing sales conversations across various communication channels

• Tracking all types of communication efficiently through CRM System

• Building partnerships with clients and suppliers

• Effectively ensuring prospective travelers fully understand our trips & services offered

• Getting involved to any strategic decisions of the company

• Creating social media content and ezines

Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience in a similar role in a large travel agency

• Experience in Ticketing

• Fluent in English, other European languages will be considered a plus

• Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Business will be considered an advantage

• Very good computer skills and proficient user of GDS

• Very good communication and organization skills

• Customer-centric approach

• Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines

• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult situations powerfully
