eCommerce Product Owner - Nea Kifisia

The largest omnichannel retailer of home/consumer appliances, electronics and entertainment products in Greece and Cyprus, co-created by Public and Media Markt, is seeking a talented and dynamic professional to join and develop further the eCommerce team with an:

eCommerce Product Owner

The candidate is part of a team responsible for owning eCommerce’s features roadmap. This position requires a resource that will take ownership and contribute to the development of our online presence, the effective delivery of new functionalities & sales growth. The main responsibility will be to manage the development of ideas (from conception to completion) and ensure the quality of impeccable features and functionalities of the product based on a tight road map.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex projects in eCommerce and seek to provide solutions that positively impact the business and customer experience
  • Collaborate closely with cross-department teams (Commercial/Marketing/CX/IT) to refine requirements, create specification documents, detailed feature definitions and clear product specifications
  • Create product concepts with the CX/Web designers/wider teams
  • Work with business owners throughout projects to meet goals and objectives and deliver highly functional and modern web and digital experiences that are mobile first
  • Inspire and give directions to the development team and stakeholders about the projects
  • Handle the iteration planning, analysis / elaboration of the user stories & backlog management
  • Solves technical problems in tandem with business acumen
  • Act as primary liaison and oversee development stages
  • Anticipate & handle change requests
  • Engage with internal stakeholders at various levels to identify opportunities for new developments and innovation

Job Requirements:

  • Good understanding of user experience and customer journeys, key customer personas and use-case scenarios
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in web, digital or product management required
  • Commercially minded. Good understanding of Marketing and Data/System team integrations
  • Passionate about technology/digital achievements and how it can impact our product growth
  • Ability to influence people (team, stakeholders)
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and reporting while having the ability to work within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience in project management & budgeting (from conception to completion)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external clients
  • Not afraid to test, assess and support our users and expanded team to ensure the production of high-quality deliverables

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of website content management systems and other software to manage product information and features
  • Experience in conducting A/B or multivariate testing
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
