Thanos Hotels then built Anassa in the north west of Cyprus, which opened in July 1998. Meaning 'queen' in ancient Greek, Anassa is a majestic year-round resort comprising 177 rooms arranged in the style of a traditional Cypriot village. Anassa is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The company's original hotel, Paphos Beach Hotel, was relaunched in 2003 as Almyra, the first Cypriot member of Design Hotels.
With 189 rooms, Almyra is a cutting-edge beach hotel that makes contemporary luxury accessible to all.
