We are currently seeking a passionate and highly driven Trade Communications Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for successfully executing the trade promotional plans and marketing activities to elevate customer experience and dynamically communicate the Cosmos Sport Group brand portfolio. You will be required to understand market trends and needs as well as provide innovative communication proposals that will stand out and disrupt the market, differentiating the Cosmos Group Banners from competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Trade Marketing practices within retail environment to ensure the brand's image and messages are consistently represented at the point of purchase in an effective way.
  • Plan and execute Trade Marketing activities, introducing innovative practices regarding store design for Cosmos banners' network expansion.
  • Support Cosmo's Trade development strategy for new stores, through omni-channel lens, focusing on digital solutions.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing stores to elevate store aesthetics, digital signages, store zoning & POP material to maximize customer experience.
  • Design, develop, and distribute effective point of sale (POS) materials, display units, and in-store merchandising tools to enhance brands visibility, attract consumer attention and encourage purchase.
  • Support the briefing process for store development and the upcoming brand campaigns/activations to external parties (i.e. creative agencies, trade partners, etc.).
  • Execute key Trade Marketing Activations (i.e. store opening events, commercial promotion activities for Cosmos banners, etc.)
  • Support the development of Trade Marketing materials and Omni Channel Activities.
  • Monitor network requirements for effective operations, foot traffic and sell-out data to provide new ideas and key recommendations that can influence new store designs.
  • Evaluate the success of campaigns, analyzing ROI as well as monitor market trends, competitors’ activities, and consumer behaviors.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Retail, Commercial, Graphic Designers and build strong relationships with key trade partners.
  • Organize trade events or roadshows to showcase products and engage with potential as well as existing partners.
  • Support marketing budgeting process by guiding investment decisions and savings across channels / provide input on CAPEX budget.
  • Participate in a big variety of Media, PR and corporate events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor;s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
  • 2+ years prior experience in Trade/Retail Marketing, preferably in the sporting goods sector or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of trade dynamics, consumer behaviors, and the retail environment
  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams and external partners
  • Strong sense of accountability and focus on innovation, creativity, and out of the box thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
  • Master's degree will be considered a plus.
