ABOUT ICMC
The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is an international non-governmental organization, whose mission is to protect and serve children as well as uprooted people, including refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced people, victims of human trafficking, and migrants - regardless of faith, race, ethnicity, or nationality.
ICMC started a partnership with UNICEF in Greece to deploy a highly qualified affiliated workforce to assist UNICEF Greece Country Office.
SCOPE OF WORK
Within the framework of the National Action Against Childhood Obesity and Family and Child Health Promotion initiatives, the Visual Communication & Visibility Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring visual coherence, brand consistency, and high-quality communication outputs across UNICEF programs and the UNICEF brand.
The incumbent will work closely with the UNICEFGreece Communications team, will report to the UNICEF Greece Head of Communication and will act as the central coordination point for visual communication, graphic design, visibility, and multimedia content, working internally across program teams and externally with agencies, suppliers, and partners.
The Visual Communication & Visibility Coordinator will oversee the development and implementation of visual and multimedia communication outputs, ensuring that all deliverables meet UNICEF quality standards, branding guidelines, and safeguarding requirements. Where necessary, the incumbent will also directly support the production of original visual and multimedia content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Greece UNICEF Country Office Head of Communication, the Visual Communication & Visibility Coordinator will contribute to the following deliverables and functions:
• Act as the focal point for all visual communication, graphic design, and visibility needs related to UNICEF programs and the overall UNICEF brand.
• Ensure consistent application of UNICEF’s visual identity across all program and corporate communication materials.
• Collaborate closely with external creative, digital, production, and event agencies, preparing detailed briefs, monitoring progress, ensuring timely delivery, and reviewing all materials for alignment with communication objectives and UNICEF brand guidelines.
• Serve as the primary contact point for program teams, partners, and implementing entities seeking branding, visibility, and design guidance or approval, ensuring all third-party materials (reports, toolkits, digital content, visibility items, event branding, etc.) comply with UNICEF standards.
• Coordinate and oversee video and photography production, including pre-production planning, filming, production, and post-production processes.
• Support the communication and visibility needs of the Childhood Obesity and Family and Child Health Promotion programs, ensuring consistent and high-quality visual representation.
• Prepare monthly communication and visibility reports for the Childhood Obesity and Family and Child Health Promotion programs.
• Maintain and organize a central archive of all final creative and visibility materials, ensuring easy access and systematic documentation.
• Provide constructive feedback and technical guidance to vendors and production partners to ensure all creative executions meet UNICEF’s technical, ethical, and safeguarding requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
A university degree in Communication, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
Experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in visual communication, graphic design, content creation, or program visibility.
• Proven experience managing visual communication and multimedia production workflows, including coordination of multiple creative partners.
• Demonstrated experience in video and photography production, including end-to-end coordination of filming and post-production.
• Strong understanding of branding principles and experience maintaining consistency within complex visual identity systems.
• Experience with social impact, health promotion, or public awareness campaigns is considered an advantage.
• Prior experience with UNICEF, the UN system, or other international organizations is a strong asset.
Languages
Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken) is required.
KEY OUTPUTS / EXPECTED DELIVERABLES
The Visual Communication & Visibility Coordinator is expected to deliver the following outputs during the contract period:
• Consistent application of graphic design and visual branding across UNICEF programs and brand communication materials.
• Monthly delivery of:
o Three (3) video outputs, including filming, production, and post-production.
o Three (3) photo libraries, including photo shooting and edited selections.
• Monthly communication and visibility reports for:
o National Action Against Childhood Obesity
o Family and Child Health Promotion program
• Ongoing coordination and quality assurance of visual communication, graphic design, and multimedia outputs produced internally and by external partners.
• Maintenance of a complete, organized, and up-to-date archive of approved creative and visibility materials.
• Two (2) Final End-of-Project Communication and Visibility Reports, covering the full duration of the assignment for both the National Action Against Childhood Obesity and the Family and Child Health Promotion Program, to be submitted by 10 April 2026.
