Assistant Accountant
Job description
- Preparation of supplier's payments
- Petty cash journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Overheads invoices posting
- Participate in the invoicing procedure
- Monitoring of client's guarantees accounts and posting of relevant offsets and clearances
- Monthly reconciliations for customer's outstanding receivables and suppliers payables
- Quarterly reconciliations for deposits
- Posting of general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for a set of accounts
- Participate in the monthly closing process
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Economics or relevant field
- At least one (1) year of experience as accounting professional or similar position
- Good understanding of accounting and basic tax knowledge
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is a must.
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail, accurate and trustworthy
- Ability to work in a team
