are seeking to hire for Helea family beach resort for the season 2022:

Executive Chef

Helea is a stunning family beach resort complex overlooking the sea with 503 rooms. Situated at one of the most distinguished seafronts of the island, Kalithea, it is only 10 min away from the Old Town of Rhodes. A new lavish and vivid beach resort that welcomes families from around the world in a world where comfort and fun are bridged.

Position Summary:

The Executive Chef supports the F&B Manager in all operational aspects of the business. Responsible and accountable, for all day-to-day operations of the kitchens, controls and directs the food preparation process; establishes clear guidelines and procedures for all chefs to adhere too. Develops recipes and costings; ensures full compliance with all Food Safety and H&S measures.

Scope:

  • Reports to the General Manager and the Group Executive Chef
  • Maintain a high standard of appearance at all times for him and his team with the Ella Resorts standards
  • Creates food menus for all the resort’s outlets
  • Ensures all food and hygiene safety regulations are followed
  • Inspects the quality of the offered food within the resort
  • He/She is aware of new culinary trends and recipes
  • Coordinates all of the kitchen staff
  • Hires and trains new kitchen staff
  • Manages special dietary needs
  • Completely understands work safety and emergency procedures
  • Oversees purchasing to stay within certain budget
  • Prepares and ensures all scheduling are as per business demands

Prerequisites:

  • Three or more years working experience in a similar role at a 5-star hotel
  • Degree/Diploma in culinary
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus
