Hotel Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping according to the Greek Accounting Standards
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable – Tracking of Expenses
- Inventory control
- Process Payroll end to end
- Financial Reporting
- Charge and Preauthorise Reservations according to booking conditions
- Upload invoices on certain Travel Agent Platforms according to T/A policies.
- Follow-up on accounts receivable
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting from a university or similar institution
- Experience of 2-4 years in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Very good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards
- Excellent knowledge of controlling Payroll
- Excellent knowledge of English language both written and verbal
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiar with use of Epsilon Accounting and Payroll suites will be considered as an asset
- Familiar with use of Opera, Micros
- Strong Analytical and report writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
