PharOS is seeking for an PV Officer within the Pharmacovigilance (PV) & Medical Writing as follows:

PV Officer (Pharmacovigilance Officer)

Role and Responsibilities

• Handling of safety information, both pre- and post-approval (receipt, assessment, recording, reporting and follow-up activities)
• Data entry into data capture software and databases
• Archiving of PV documents
• Data submission on authorized medicines (Article 57 database)
• Reconciliation activities with clients/partners
• Global and/or local scientific literature search
• Monitoring of competent authority websites to identify safety information and/or pharmacovigilance related announcements
• Communication with interested parties (consumers, health care professionals, MA holders, authorities) with regards to pharmacovigilance issues
• Preparation of Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs)
• Preparation and update of Risk Management Plans (RMPs)

Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Pharmacy or other relevant life sciences or public health related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in pharmacovigilance
• Good knowledge/understanding of legislation, guidelines and procedures for pharmacovigilance
• Excellent English oral communication and scientific writing skills
• PC literacy (word, excel, ppt etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, team working spirit
• Oriented to focus on detail
• Ability to deliver under specific deadlines
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally
